Gig Description

The Bronsons– Pub rock and rhythm n booze revivalists in a Brinsley Scwartz via Ducks Deluxe sense, plus a bit of acidic Dr Feelgood punky boogie woogie oh yes. The Count Bishops and The Inmates are also reference points via a little counter cultural trippy blues. A great night out in themselves The Trusted-Are a young 4 piece band originally from Leigh On Sea in Essex. Coming together with a host of influences ranging from U2, The Clash,  Catfish and The Bottlemen, to The Strokes, Elvis Costello and Muse  they quickly discovered a shared passion for crafting intelligent, rocking indie tunes evolving into a fierce but melodic indie rock beast with a reputation for high-energy live shows Block 33- indie rock with punch, simple but effective riffs with a glam rockish vocal…all in all makes you think of The Sweet meets The Manics, fine work, then they totally confound by dropping the frantic rock and putting in a bit of sitaralike guitar and a sample of seagulls and some phasing etc! Well all right. Bonds – Alt rock taking in Pixies, Manics, Suede to my ears executed brilliantly well by a 3 piece who play and emote their stuff to the max. Kid Harlequin-Gritty, energetic zippy  indie rock with good use of Light n shade and decent tunes, like a less introspective Placebo in places
