Des Was a Bowie Fan With The Indelicates, Keith TOTP & Drömstad

Here's an early March racer with the club in Camden with The Indelicates returning for a one-off night with Keith Top of the Pops and his Minor UK Indie Celebrity All Star Band and Drömstad in the back seat.

The Indelicates have just brought out their 6th LP Juniverbrecher via the good ship Corporate Records, a swinging poignant rebel fist of an album that should be pumped from totalitarian state speakers on the streets on a loop. Expect songs from this and golden classics from 13 years of storming Pop poetry.

Special guests on the night are Keith Top Of The Pops & His Minor UK Indie Celebrity All-Star Backing Band. The band abide by two rules. The first never to soundcheck; the second never to rehearse. They formed a band at an Art Brut gig in New York after the support dropped out, and now have 12 years worth of TOTP-worthy ballads like 'F... You, I'm Keith Top of the Pops', 'I Hate Your Band' and 'Morrisey Will Never Forget Me'.

And opening the night, from a black leather dream city somewhere between Neko Case and Slowdive, indie noir combo Drömstad, firing dreamy epics from their debut 'milk!' EP and future hit singles.

Then at 11, Keroauc's handkerchief lands on the Fiddler's lampshade with the touch of a Crystals chorus, dimming the lights for the ghosts of 60s girl groups, Northern Soul and rock'n'roll to join the most shimmering indiepop, new wave and post-punk till 2am.

All flaming limbs at the front line.
