L/M Rage– a bright and breezy take on glammed out rock with a Kasabian meets ’80s Cure indie rock feel, plenty of energy and as I say ‘glam’.The Flavells-  an emotionally intense scally rock experience…like an organic lofi early Verve,  a bit gothic, a bit noir,  formed just over a year ago in the Clifton Council estate in Nottingham. An increasing reputation landed them their recent support slot for Jake Bugg on his latest tour.  Following this appearance, they impressed enough to be offered the chance to record with Jake in the studio in the next few months. Their songs have lyrics that are written from the gut – hard-hitting, ‘pissed off and not ashamed of it’ lyrics about everyday things that we can all relate to.  But there is also a thought-provoking element to them that leaves them resonating with the listener long after the end of the gig.
