Starsha Lee- Crispin from Daisy Chainsaw/Queen Adrena/Dogbones latest female fronted narco punk ramalama psych bundle o’ joy… a wall of Stoogecore metallic rocknroll noise and probing rhythmic righteousness fronted by the amazing yelpings of Ms Lee. China Bears-Effortlessly breezy and hooky indie pop, there’s a few old school indie references in here, Orange Juice, The Smiths, but they’re not that noticable, subtle hints really, quite a unique sound and a crisp bang up to date production. Austin Gold-blusey heavy rock , pretty much the same components as Whitesnake, but a groove-rock version thereof.., blues wailin vox, Hammond etc, skillfully reworks Kashmir, a Booker T number and the recent career of Jo Bonnamassi in the space of one song. North Parade- Urgent catchy indie pop, there’s a few 80’s references, referencing teardrop explodes in places, but an edgier stripped down version. decent impassioned indie pop moderne
