Julie Hamill- ‘Frank’ book launch plus fantastic 1980s disco. In a twist of events for the Rock N Roll Book Club Tony Gleed will interview our regular host Julie Hamill about her new book, ‘Frank’, a novel set in 1980s Scotland about love, loss, grief and happiness. ‘Frank’, the first book in a trilogy entitled ‘Life And Soul’, centres on a man in his sixties who has lost his wife, June, and yet he still sees her and he’s not sure why. Is she a ghost?  Is heva bit forgetful?  Is it the strength of his grief?  And what will happen to their daughter, Jackie? Frank is accompanied by an eighties soundtrack of The Jam, Phil Oakey, Rod Stewart, The Smiths, Bow Wow Wow, Pet Shop Boys, Queen and much more in an exclusive DJ set put together by Julie Hamill and Soho Radio’s Tony Gleed.
