Cats On The Beach- Fantastic orchestral indie with poetic lyrics. Kitchen sink classicism redolent of very early Cure, and kinda Radiohead via the Libertines with a soupcon of Lou Reed. Cats on the Beach have played shows for BBC Radio and the Joe Strummer Foundation for New Music. The Trusted- a young 4 piece band originally from Leigh On Sea in Essex. Coming together with a host of influences ranging from U2, The Clash, Catfish and The Bottlemen, to The Strokes, Elvis Costello and Muse they quickly discovered a shared passion for crafting intelligent, rocking indie tunes evolving into a fierce but inviting and infectious and danceable pop n roll. Landspeeder- Gritty indie rock from a bunch of old faces from the 1990s Britpop scene, ex-members of Reuben, Mandelbrot Set and F.O.N.D, have worked with Suede, Echo & the Bunnymen, Kingmaker, Cast and loads more in the intervening years. Still giving it bigtime vital Brit indie rock and roll razzle dazzle. Davy Flats & The Holy Innocents-Charming and erudite indie pop that recalls The Byrds in terms of chiming melodies and hooks as well as pioneering indie pop like The Gobetweens, but with a snappy up to date production and contemporary lyrical themes, Brexit, Gentrification etc, plenty of ethusiastic airplay from the likes of Steve Lamacq and John Kennedy.
